We are currently providing services in Chisago, Washington, Isanti, and Pine counties.
How are services paid for?
FGMI provides services on a Private-Pay basis and is also an approved provider through Medical Assistance.
Can I request a friend or relative to be hired as my support staff?
Yes, pending they are qualified and complete all training requirements offered by FGMI.
What are the qualifications/requirements of the in-home support staff?
Staff Must:
1. Be 18 years of age or older.
2. Pass a criminal history background check.
3. Have a valid drivers license and vehicle insurance.
4. Complete all training provided by FGMI and additional training as per consumer needs.
What is "in-home support service"?
In-home Support Services are a range of services designed to provide assistance and support with the consumer's home and community.
